SLP saying our last bit of transfer activity will be a RB. No names, but the club want cover for solly.

I think a sensible step. I'm anticipating a young player- from the prem perhaps, as most clubs won't want a senior pro out on loan as a back up.

We already have Hughes and Cousins (now his Mirror/Daily Malice problems are behind him <ok>) why do we need another?

Don't think CP would have much confidence in Hughes playing at right-back for a number of games if Solly had a serious injury, and I'm not sure how ready Cousins is for the first team (your area but not mine AllHell).

First half of the season he went missing but been playing far better since Christmas, especially considering what he went through a month or so ago.

Hughes has spent the second half of the season injured.

I've heard that Graeme Murty is looking for a comeback.

Anything would be better than seeing Wiggins deployed at right-back again.

Anyway, can't Leon Cort fill in at right-back if needed?

Murty would be interesting, if he hasn't already, he must be looking into getting his coaching badges, so he probably wouldn't mind playing second-fiddle to Solly as much as other potential signings.

Ponders, I'm not sure he can, anytime himself, Taylor and Morro have played together, it has been Morrison who plays RB, clearly not his best position.
