Do we need a new younger version if lamps next season. a midfielder who finds space and scores crucial goals. And if so, who should we go for?
I don't think we need another Lampard so to speak, Lamps at his best was top of a 3 man midfield with two supporting, with the formation change its Mata that sits in Lampards position now and he is our best player, and gets a lot of goals This year the two wing positions chipped in with a few goals (either Hazard, Oscar or Moses) and like Mata did this season, hopefully they kick into top gear goals wise for their second year Which brings me back to Lampards replacement, it should be a player with creativity, eye for a pass and good retention skills Gundogan, Benat, Vidal and Fellaini fit this mould and are in decent age brackets 26 and under
