Hi everyone, I have supported the R's since the sixties, and have been to the vast majority of home games since. I am a season ticket holder in the South Africa road stand with Mrs Cross it Dave. We travel up from either Torbay or the Dordogne in SW France for home games, rarely go to away games these days though. We always have pie & mash at Cookes in Goldhawk Rd before every game, generally drink in the ground. Been a member of WATRB for quite a few years, please don't hold that against me. I tend to be a polite poster who prefers humorous banter rather than sarcky comments, I am defintely not a ITK though.
Must be another old bugger like many of us ................... welcome buddy, hope you enjoy your stay. There are many unruly posters .................. like Queens for example and of course, yours truly but don't let that deter you. Aussie
We have another DT tribute poster, now St Eustace (formerly "The ball goes wide to Dave Thomas)....he is very fond of France too....and you will "like" his posts!!! So welcome and welcome Mrs CrossitDave
Welcome cross it Dave ? Dave Thomas was always my hero when I was young of course you mean Clement or Bardsley Whereabouts in the Dordogne? I had a place close to Lusingac near Riberac Are you sure you aren't Swords? Just a hunch
not sure about the humorous banter but I think there is a joke thread on here somewhere welcome into the madhouse
I see you just bought yourself a new scarf, Kiwi ................ nice, very nice .............. sure to keep you warm on those cold nights.
I can see this now oddball Dave Thomas, Cookes, France....could be your brother from another mother???!!!!
Strange game, should have been 3 up before they scored, whats new, lots of shooting practice required this week I think. Not a barton Lover, but credit where it is due, Holiet best player on the pitch, au revoir Bobby you time is up. Beer still crap the the ground. Owls fans very noisy, but a few of them were a little unnecessary in Blomfontien rd when walking back to our car after the game.
