Complete folly of course but a true test of conviction and how deep feelings go would be...

As a Hull City AFC fan, if you could choose your team's 14/15 season destiny, and you could only make one choice...which would it be?

    1) Kick off the new season as Hull City AFC in the Championship (following relegation) with the Allam's abandoning all talk of re-branding.
    2) Kick off the new season as Hull Tigers in the EPL following a successful battle against relegation.

Why not....surely it teases out as a fan what is more important to you.

Both can be important of course, but which one pips the other?

No one knows for certain Mr Allam will change the name to Hull Tigers even though he dislikes the word 'City'.
At the moment all we know is he intends to change the name to 'Hull City Tigers'.

I have had some great times no mater where or which division we are in ...Second season in the PL last time was pretty naff apart from at away matches which have allot more atmosphere anyway.

Relegation is a really crap feeling no mater what division you are relegated from, Not dropping out of the league many years ago have as good feeling as being promoted to the EPL to me anyway.

We are Hull City AFC !!!

    <cheers>

I as a fan would want to see them successful regardless of whether it's Hull City, Hull Tigers or Hull Mickey Mouse Club. It doesn't mean to say I agree with it. However I can only say the same thing so many times before sounding like a broken record.

How about a third option? Kicking off in the BPL as Hull City AFC?

I put BPL, seeing as we are talking about branding, as that is how it apparently should be referred to in this country whilst abroad it is EPL and I assume you are in this country.

Why do we have to struggle to fight relegation btw? I'm hoping we end up in the top half of the table.

Did you know that Kellogg's became massively successful after rebranding from :- Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company. They went for something shorter and punchier you see. Though, of course, they are still based in Battle Creek.

    Not possible.

Everyone knows you have to re-brand your name and the colour of your kit to be successful. I mean, how stupid are you?

Imagine a team being successful with the word 'City' or 'United' in their name?? I'm laughing just thinking about it...

Im stunned ANYONE would choose EPL and Hull Tigers. I'd choose bottom of the entire league ladder and Hull City over EPL and Hull Tigers.
