My best mate's brother knows Liam Cooper and Jamie Devitt, he often texts and BBMs him, and apparently Steve Bruce is interested in Freddy Piquionne, I'm not saying this is 100% true but my mate was being serious this morning when we were discussing football and possible transfer targets for City under Bruce. Also, I do know that Cooper and Devitt are good mates with him so it doesn't seem that much of a dodgy rumour. Make of it what you wish.
Did he get a lift to his prom by any of these individuals? If not i don't believe you. Would Brucey really talk to two young members of our squad about his targets, two players who i have no doubt are on holiday somewhere and are not even at the club or haven't even being anywhere near the club. Sounds like grade one rubbish to me.
Not being cynical, but Devitt will be in Ireland or on holiday and i'm sure coops will be on his hols too. I doubt Bruce has met any of the players yet, so how would they have the slightest knowledge of who Bruce is after? Actually I was being cynical because I am.

Nope, did nothing at Doncaster, and nothing at West Ham. Non subject he won't be a Hull City player, and i am not sure any of us would want him.
A lot of you are missing the point here!! Bruce aint gonna be talking BUT if you think about the logic... Bruce calls FP's agent and asks about him, and shows interest. Agent talks to player and sounds him out. Player then messages his buddies in the Hull team saying he is being sounded out. Hull players tell their mates. Not saying it is true, but players will know if ther agents are getting enquiries (speculative or not!). Footballers have pea brains, they spend all day texting cack and blathering.
i wouldn't bother posting stuff like this in the future. You just get aload of abuse. If you know something, keep it to yourself !

Ive also heard this but gave it a wide berth actually. He did nothing @ Doncaster or West Ham and we have Jay Simposn still who has better potential. FP is an upgrade on Dele Adebola though. No he would not. Heskey would be the perfect foil for Fryatt and EH holds the ball up well and brings others into play. Heskey could play in a 4-5-1 as well. But IF Piquionne is available on £2k a week he would be a good squad player i would suggest and a bargain. £3k+ is far to much. Agreed. So would i. Afterall FP may just prove a good impact sub as well..
did jamie de veet suggest that he will be plying his trade anywhere other than accrington next season. i say de veet, as i personally think that jamie's best chance of seeming like anything better than a decent 4 th division winger is to make his name sound dutch!
i believe it also had a similar effect on the resale value of poor quality high emission cheap russian cars in the 80's. I never knew a taxi driver who drove anything but a La Dah!
