Roy lines up for Forest DUTCH master Bryan Roy has confirmed that he will be playing in the Nottingham Forest Vets v Leicester Legends charity match at Dunkirk on Sunday July 24 (3pm).

The former international star will be pulling on the famous Reds' shirt again, alongside former favourites like Des Walker, Mark Crossley, Dave Johnson, Des Lyttle, Jason Lee, Neil Webb and Gary Mills.

"I've spoken to Bryan and he has confirmed that he will be flying over," said Veterans' official Danny Boyes.

"It's great news. He asked if there was any chance that Stan Collymore would be in the team, because he would love to play alongside him again.

"I've booked him into an hotel but the timing of flights means he will be going back to Holland straight after the game."

Boyes is hoping that either Ian McParland or John Robertson will manage the Forest side on the day and is also trying to recruit former Notts County stars Michael Johnson and Mark Draper.

"Hopefully, the big names on view will encourage a bigger crowd than we had at Carlton Town for the corresponding match last season," added Boyes.

"It is for a very good cause again and we obviously want to raise as much as we can on the day."
Ha Ha Ha might as well sign them all up to go right alongside your so called Manager:emoticon-0150-hands:smiley-finger007::cry:

I think the reason why Forest aren't signing anyone is they are being too ambitious, remember you level and stick to signing everyones rejects, you couldnt even stop Tyson signing for Derby and hes crap

Nothing wrong with being ambitious and as for Tyson at best he's a squad player

When we trying to compete with us for 4M+ players you dont have the money for either the player or the wages.
