Well, it’s happened - I’m being made redundant after 20 years at my firm - 18 months before I was due to retire anyway at 60 (the wife is 12 years older than me so I was always planning to retire early to be with her)
On the same day my redundancy was announced, Gibraltar and Spain agreed access to Schengen for Gib citizens.
That means that the 90 day rule will not apply to us once we get our ID cards.
The stars are aligning - maybe City will reach the Prem and make my life complete???
And - I played football last night. I’ve still got it <laugh>

I'm also waiting on redundancy, and should be leaving early next year. I'm only part time now so the settlement is pro-rata but it's better than nothing.
