Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I find it a bit disappointing when new owners of clubs come in and immediately sack the manager! Steve Cottrill did amazingly well to keep Nottingham Forest in the championship, same with Sean Dyche at Watford! Maybe its just me, but I think these guys should have been given a chance to move the clubs forward! Ok, you have taken over as chairman of Gillingham, would you immediately sack the manager regardless of league position to bring in your own man or give the manager the opportunity to continue?
If I brought the club I would not change the manager unless the club was in a bad position but I would only make any change to the management unless I thought they were at fault, otherwise my focus would be on the team.
