When it comes time for new owners what 5 things wo uld you want the various supporters groups to agree on to put forward to the owners as a wish list for the club moving forwards. My 5 wishes would be 1, Restore the club name and previous crest on the shirt 2, Restore concessions. 3, Commit to a timescale for investing in a combined academy/training site (creating a club asset). 4, Demonstrate a willingness to create a strong partnership with key stakeholders within the city and wider region 5, Improve ground entry arrangements. I would also like to see wayyyyyy down the line something like Bristol Sports which brings various sports together in the city. https://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/home/ I've not put transfer kitty as I would anticipate this is a given with a new set of owners.
Hopefully we can find a buyer. League 2 football in a rented stadium with crowds less than 6000. Our only hope will be Adam Pearson stepping in.
Kiddies' bags of Bread cubes at turnstiles for Da Pigeons. Also 6 more of them Pigeon mangler birds for the rafters. Hehehe.
What does 4 even mean. 3. If we're in league one or even the championship no new owner will do that until the money starts rolling in from pl riches.
Not bothered if new owners listen to self-appointed fan groups. More bothered that new owners show Wisdom Enthusiasm Common sense Flexibility Prudence
As an addition to the above mentioned conundrum and not to far removed and certainly as an exception to the rule 4 ,Chazz would know the Difference.
1. Successfully change the name to make us an appealing global brand and unlock bigger markets. 2. Take the council signs back down from the stadium. 3. Make it more expensive for u16's and oaps. We want atmosphere and old farts and children don't do that, so they should be priced out. 4. Buy as many sports venues in the city as possible and turn them into private use 3G pitches. 5. Not spend any money.
Don’t think they should be buying sports venues. As owners they’ll have the option & power to commandeer them for free. Why spend money unnecessarily? Of course once commandeered all equipment in the venues should be ebayed off to the highest bidder to raise much needed cash to improve facilities for away support.
I thought this would be asking for names I'm still putting my, not inconsiderable, weight behind the not inconsiderably sized Ronaldo (The Brazilian one who has said he fancies buying a second tier team here or in Spain...he'll have to get in quick though before we don't meet that criteria)
I love Ronaldo (the Brazilian one) he was miles better than that other one. We all love Ronaldo in Hull, don't we everyone. It would be brilliant if he was our new owner, wouldn't it everyone.
