With web fans squabbling......I doubt if we could afford a Pasty & Chips......let alone a Football Club
It was never really muted as an option at the beginning was it. Whether we could have come up with any sort of cash then is just conjecture now. At the time the websites weren't at loggerheads and the fans were far more united than they are now. Now I would think it very difficult to achieve. It's not surprising that the supporters trust didn't want the cash investment without any say in anything. £400k put into the coffers would have been a good thing some months ago but not on those terms.
