City a goal down after 2 minutes. Defence couldn't clear it following a corner. Should have done better
Haven’t seen any highlights but read it was 1-1 with Bogle scoring a direct free kick (when did a City player last do that?) and him nearly winning it late on but hit the post. Warnock will probably think no need for a new striker now
There have been a couple signings under colin where attitude or personality got in the way. Bogle looked like a prospect until that red card and colin disavowed him. Can he turn it around?
To be fair, Warnock is a bit short on numbers out there now with both Zohore and Manga having left. They wanted to fly Flint out for the last game but couldn't find a Hercules Transport.
It was looking positive for the start of the season with the bulk of last years squad and early new signings. Taken a wobble this week though.
Just whizzed through the match on you tube to the goals and last 5 minutes. The US commentary used some strange phrases: “Out of bounds” for a goal kick “Hydration break” “PK” for a pen “Home run” for a direct free kick and when we scored “It’s tied at one.”
Americans have an odd vocabulary. I thought Bogle did quite well for us and I din’t Think NW has given him a fair crack of the whip. He may well be a bit of a rough diamond...
6,300 attendance will not be impressed. Poor city performance against a poor side, looked like amateur side! Bogle good goal!
