disappointed about saint peter reids sacking, as many others, i feel this was unfair due to his professionalism, generosity and lack of resources available. But who do we want as next manager? I saw Carl Fletcher as favourite, and I'm not a big fan of player managers but he has a lot of passion for the club and could do a job? Le Keeper is a favourite too, but i think i'd prefer a single-role manager perhaps with a player-assistant coach. Thoughts?

Fletcher and Larrieu non-starters............too close to the mess and too involved........and unexperienced........you need someone who has not been worn down by the situation that has been developing over years.

It's getting to that time when club chairmen have seen the start their side has made and the sack-race season will probably be in full swing any minute, leaving a number of managers looking for new positions. Hopefully Argyle will be able to persuade some-one who's 'looking for a challenge' to go to Home Park.

Wotton caused a lot of unrest in the changing room just before he left .... don't think we would have many players left if he was manager ..... Can't see what Fletcher is going to do that Peter Reid couldn't .... think Gladys the tea lady would do a better job !

Have you forgotten Gat............I had the tea lady shackled to her trolley so she couldn't be sold awhile back.

Wotton Hopefully has moved on from then........remember he had been out of action for about 15 months at that time.......and also a complete new team with not so many big ego's to deal with now.........as I've already asked has he done his badges yet ?

Call me cynical but I think Dickdale has played a blinder, in business when an employee stirs up other employees they are usually moved up a notch so that they toe the party line and I think thats whats happened now ...... Watch Fletcher & Larrieu be gone within 6 months !

Pretty obvious would be Fletcher/Larieu the statement announcing Reids sacking indicated would be an in-house arrangement in the interim.Personally think its the best that can be done in the circumstances.Yes they are too close to this mess-but given their own careers are at stake, they will be strongly motivated to get the team winning again. Also Fletch comes across as a strong character and personality.
