have big sam favourite @ 3/1 then nigel pearson @ 6/1 even ranieri is at 25/1 no imagination methinks!!
Pearson will have Ken Way back in faster than you can blink. Ken Way is exactly what you need again. Could be worth going with Pearson just to guarantee that man's return.
I wouldn't mind Big Sam - need to overhaul this team and he can do the job. I have a really bad feeling that we will get Moyes or Pardew though.
Shakespeare’s insistence on playing 4-4-2 week in week out didn’t help him, gave the impression he was uncomfortable trying something different which was what we needed as performances weren’t great. The recruitment since we won the title baffles me. How much have we spent, and how many of those players have made it into the first team? Musa, Mendy, Slimani are about £60m between them, and last night we’d have probably been better off starting with Okazaki. There’s the Silva debacle and now we get Dragovic and he can’t get in the squad. Not exactly covered ourselves in glory.
That odds list makes grim reading. After all the money spent they have gone too early to move Shakey on. However who will come in? Hardly stable at the moment and without being able to change till January they look in nearly as much trouble as Everton.
Kind of hoping it isn't Coleman, hes done well with Wales, but the premier league is a much more demanding place (plus King would be the number 1 name on the teamsheet every week ). Stringer seems to think we'd look into buying Benitez out of his Newcastle contract, with all the uncertainty with Ashley trying to sell, it could be a good shout.
Thing is other than CM where we are missing Silva, we really don't have a bad squad. We have enough quality, Schmeichel Maguire Dragovic, Fuchs, Chilwell Ndidi, Iborra, Mahrez, Gray, Albrighton Vardy, Iheanacho, Slimain That's enough that to get us out of trouble until January for the right manager whose not afraid to mix it up. We looked much better when Shakey changed it Monday which is why I'd have given him longer to see if he dared start a game like that. It's always been too late and too reactive
http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-specials/manager-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=2103303 A few promising options there, also a few nightmare scenarios... Papers seem to think we'll move for Dyche, don't see it myself as hes always bemoaned us spending the pound notes.
Maybe it's envy that he hasn't had that opportunity at Burnley and it's other clubs he calls out too. I wonder whether his principles would be the same if the offer is put under his nose
Apparently he is interested - will be at least £2.5m compensation though http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/s...ean-dyche-emerging-favourite-leicester-645709 Big Sam has ruled himself out as he wants the USA job where he will be known as Petite Sam.
No doubting we have the talent but it was our rigid system and inability to adapt that other teams have worked out. Hopefully whoever comes in will inject some new life into this talented bunch. Whilst I love Jamie Vardy and what he has achieved I think he could also be our downfall as everyone knows what we are going to do. Starve him of opportunities and we don't score.
That's my point in response to it being difficult for a new guy. He has plenty of talent available. I think Vardy has more to his game as he came poach as well. I think if we play more possession based he'd be fine
