I’ll start this thread with an article I rapidly scanned through. Looks like guff to me.

So loads of candidates are clamouring for the Charlton gig? In another interview TS said about Michael Beale that he was a great coach but he was "looking a bit higher than that", which seemed a bit unnecessary. The only thing I read into this interview is that TS is in no rush, and he doesn't know who he wants. The rest sounds like bluster. I'm starting to get a horrible feeling that it could all end in tears for Thomas.

All the preperatons we were supposedly doing back stage for next season is currently up in smoke. You can't logically go forward with signing players until you have a manager (and a decent manager will attract better players) so while we have a small window to pick and choose, we may need to spend more on players if we muck around and leave it late.

I want to see a new manager confirmed by Saturday 21st May absolute latest, and him being at work one week later.

If that doesn't happen then there is virtually no chance of this summer being a better one for CAFC than summer 2021.
And it has to be better.

The more TS says the more you lose faith.

i actually think there's merit in the idea that he'll save 2 or 3 months worth of managers and players wages, by not having them.

starting to worry as JFH is still the clear favourite. can you imagine the low turnouts if he's appointed?

Isn't Thomas Sandgaard aware that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is not well regarded by Charlton fans?
His fame and earlier playing days mean nothing to us. And during his time as a CAFC player he was nothing more than a wage thief.

    TS, we don't want him.
There are many other better choices. Choices with more experience and less baggage.
And we can't afford to get this appointment wrong again.

Matt Taylor, a good record in the 4th tier. But aren't we aiming a bit low here?

I'm not convinced. Think we should be looking to do better.

Beale would be a good appointment, but perhaps we are just dreaming.
We've sunk so low that even rubbish Championship Clubs are a more attractive prospect than us.
Only out London location counts in our favour.

Well at least the interviewing process hasn't just petered out. That's reassuring folks <ok>

And these will be genuine interviews, rather than the ones Katrien Meire assured us about before appointing Karel Fraeye :emoticon-0104-surpr
