SOD has gone, our board has to appoint a new man, there will be a host of candidates, here are 14plus of the most named possibilities... Vote for your preference..
I would prefer someone outspoken. Paolo Di Canio would be the best option for me, only because I'd love to see Jon Lansdown try to tell him that he can't spend any money. Mike Phelan would be a good choice, considering all the bullshit he's come out with about how he basically managed United for the past five years. One name I don't want to see anywhere near the club is Neil Warnock.
I voted for Holloway - all else has failed so let's give it a go with something different Those who decide not to go will soon come back when we start winning
Wot?....no Keith Millen...he's available! Seriously; I reckon Keith Curle is a good shout for you. I'm happy with Ward but Curle was my choice at the time. Knows Bristol, knows the lower leagues, has contacts....and stands no s**t!
Christ Been with Exeter for about 8 years now, got them from a conference team to league 1, is still young and use to play for BCFC Always been bounded about everytime we sack a manager, 1 day he will manager city just don't know when
Ian Holloway would be a ****ing idiot to come down to a League 1 team. The man has previous form of two promotions to the Premier League, so I'd be shocked if he couldn't find himself a good Championship team to manage. If he were interested, it'd be ****ing hilarious to see how the blue side of Bristol react.
I meant where is he now That list is quite shocking, I'd only have Warnock from that list, Solskjaer, Di canio and Curbishley wouldn't even bother applying
I can only vote for one,the stand out candidate with two promotions from the championship,a great understanding of Bristol, younger than Warnock give it a go.He would put the passion back into our club. If not Warnock for me.
You know I was thinking this when they said he was taking over for Preston..... Would hate this outcome. Although the 5 wins on a row would be most welcome
From that list I've chosen Paul Tisdale. Only one I really like the look of with Warnock 2nd. Honestly don't know who I want though. Doesn't look like great readings but im glad SOD is no longer in charge.
the fact that AN Other is currently joint top shows what I have said all along - there is a serious dearth of talented managers available. But since we are already out of the frying pan, I would really like us to go for someone like Glenn Hoddle who has a real eye for talent amongst youngsters and who could really carry through the aim of building a team based on our own local talent.
no Dariusz Dziekanowski on that list!!!! that list doesn't fill me with any hope the board will no doubt make the wrong appointment anyway
LJ not on the list ? He would walk to Bristol to manage us. I actually think he will grow into being a better manager than his dad, having studied under Wenger and played in the Championship himself. And as a manager it doesnt matter how small he is.
