Time for Shearer for me, he has unfinished business, our last Geordie was Bob Stokoe !

Mike Basset would do a better job than the Tosser we have!!
at least he would play 442 and listen to the fans

Seriously though the available managers are barely flattering.

Martin Jol probably pick of the bunch.

It'd be slim pickings at this stage trying to prize a decent manager away from his contract, unless you went for a mid-table type club's gaffer that have nowt left to play for this season.

Haha that'd be a turn up for the books! He'd certainly not take **** off O'Shea and Brown.

Something tells me those two aren't playing the game cos they have delusions of grandeur.

Pretty sure this is still the symptoms of Steve Bruce and Martin O'Neill. Both spent copious amounts on utter **** which still gets in your side, only it's years later and that **** has got older and slower and worse. Some of Poyet's signings have been poor (Buckley) but being fair, he's not had the sums he predecessors had.

O'Shea and Brown have never been good enough first choice players since they arrived. I find it hilarious people pretending that suddenly is because of Poyet, as they have been doing on all the live feeds.

Selling Henderson, Sess, Gyan, Jones and this is the result now, get Watmore and Agnew in next week, and a couple of defenders from the reserves. That north stand for some reason has cursed us in the first half this season and how many goals have we conceded, very strange. Swap Aladyce for Poyet now that would be interesting next week !

I suspect if Big Sam wants it, it'll be his for the asking. He's an experienced PL manager, who, whatever his style of play was, moved West Ham sharply up the league when they needed it, has had an excellent first half of the season this time around, and even after a smart thrashing from Arsenal today, still has them standing at tenth. Sam would show an improvement on what we've got at the moment, no doubt. And we do need to bite the bullet, style-wise, and get away from this constant bottom six habit of ours. Because one year, possibly this year, we're going to slip up and there'll be no 'miracle' to shout about.

That really isn't saying much, is it? We're in shameful shape ourselves, a game from a spanking of our own, but if you're happy burying your heads with that, fair enough. No joke, if Boro get promoted they'll probably be the best North East team next year. How dreadful is that?

I've never asked for 442, it's ****e, Our midfielders aren't good enough to get the better of 4 man midfield let alone the 5 man midfield we usually play against. Lose the midfield battle and you lose the game, we were just mascaraed by a 4 man midfeld. How's putting less in there going to help? This fan doesn't want 442, speak for yourself fella.

442 is a desprate call from folk who can't see that the game has changed, where teams attack space, so lets give opponents more space to attack eh?
