Like everyone else ive listened to the guesses of the press and the cows doodos of the kidders on here but now I have a bit of concrete info.
I sit on row kk in sk3 and after the game today in the gents below sk3 was none other than Ian Dowie.
I dont claim to have any inside info or a mole at the club but Dowie wasnt there because he had nothing to do on a bright Sunday afternoon.
It was definitely him--who else but a footie manager sits in the kop in a white shirt and a smart tie?
He came out of the exit where turnstiles 13-16 are and got into a very smart Audi.
Im not saying hes coming as manager and Im not saying I want him but he was there.
When we got to the Soar Point after the game I checked oddschecker and tried to get £20 on him with paddypower at 50/1 but they said the max bet was £17.19 so I bet that.
This is not a speculative rant but an actual sighting--make of it what you will

Neither the media or potential managers sit in the KOP

He has a good job with sky. I'm not saying its out of the question but i'll guess it was because of his current job <ok>

To be honest, I doubt we would make perspective new managers sit in with the fans in the Kop.

If Dowie was going to be our new manager which he isnt he would of been sitting near the owners or with the owners. Not in the Kop

If there was any chance of him being your manager, surely the fans that were sat next to him could have spiked his cup of bovril?

Surely you wouldnt want him down there?

Never in a million years would i want Dowie and i dont think the owners are stupid enough to appoint Dowie. Nigel Pearson looks the target and the job is his IF he wants it

I would rather have the Pinball Wizard as our manager than have Dowie. He is pure awful.

Iain Dowie done well at Palace but he has been **** everywhere else

I think if he wants to get back in management he will need to drop down to league 1
