http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2869089,00.html Looks like it will be revealed later today.
Hopefully it's not as bad as some of the other's I've been on. Slow, cutting off articles by chopping a line in half (top to bottom), and that stupid popup you get every time you go on the website.
Great news. Always felt cheap on the site. Was on Norwich's site the other day which has recently changed from the player format to a new one. Reckon it may look a bit like that
As long it improves the news section, I can live with all of the pop ups and adverts, but recently the kind of news that we really want to read has been lacking in many respects. It is as if the Club doesn't think we can keep a secret!
It is exactly the same format as Norwich's site, which is disappointing. I like it, but it's a shame we can't be unique and design our own independent website.
Seems like it's always aesthetics over functionality with these kinds of websites. Sure, it looks nice enough, but it's just a very heavy page full of unnecessary glitter. Not that I would expect any different.
I don't understand why we've gone for a template again. Furthermore what kind of creative web agency thinks a template is a solution for a Premier League client, or their portfolio? EDIT: oh, it's the same guys as last time.
If you're using Firefox or Google Chrome internet browser, and you don't like all the adverts that come up, there is an add-on called "Adblock Plus" that will get rid of them for you, making the site much tidier to look at. http://adblockplus.org/en/ As a bonus, it also blocks adverts on Youtube videos and the like. Well worth having. I also would like to have our own uniquely designed website. We always used to - I guess with Lowe and cost-cutting post-relegation we bought into the standardised Football League style.
There was word that promotion would mean we were no longer subject to that contract. If we are still in that contract though, the sooner we are out of it and design our own homepage, the better.
Meh. Doesn't appear to be anymore content than previous one, despite the tweets congratulating the mush at St Mary's for many long hours sorting it out (has he pulled a flanker on his colleagues?).
What a pile of crap!! Whoever created this has no idea what they are doing. Images are far beyond the resolution required, layout sucks, they have NO knowledge of search engine optimisation and they used ASPX!!!.. That says it all
