Naby Keita hasn't yet kicked a ball for Liverpool but already the incoming midfielder is earning cult status among Reds supporters. And his latest efforts won't harm that reputation in the slightest. Keita will move to Anfield in the summer with a deal worth in excess of £50million having been agreed last year with RB Leipzig for the Guinea international. In the meantime, the 23-year-old has been attempting to help the Bundesliga side earn a second successive Champions League qualification. Leipzig were in action on Monday night at Eintracht Frankfurt, with the pair among five clubs scrambling for top-four places behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich. And Keita caused a commotion when, on the stroke of half-time, he caught Frankfurt's Makoto Hasebe with a late tackle. The midfielder tried to walk away from the incident but was chased by Hasebe, who pushed the Guinean to spark a confrontation with players from both sides before the referee got control of the flashpoint and the players left the field for the dressing rooms. Keita then hobbled off on 61 minutes after suffering what was later diagnosed as a thigh problem, with Leipzig yet to determine the extent of the damage. Leipzig lost 2-1 and are in fifth place, one point behind third-placed Frankfurt and a further point adrift of Borussia Dortmund in second.
TBH he's a dirty ****. people like that. I am personally hoping that gruijc steps up next season asa true no 6 in the warnock mould and partners with kieta to form the most feared midfield duo since souness and mcdermott.
I'm watching grujic for cardiff. He's settled in fast. if he can cut it there lets see if he can step up. A no 6 with real bit, tall and rangy and with an eye for goal.
