Now with Nigel returning quite a few players will have a new lease of life at the club and some may move on. People like Chris Weale, Bruno Berner, Martyn Waghorn, Lloyd Dyer, Aleksandar Tunchev, Matt Oakley, Steve Howard all may benefit from having Nigel back. Some players may have to adapt to having Nigel here like Jermaine Beckford and Sol Bamba mainly.

Chris Weale apart from at Derby didnt put a foot wrong all season under Nigel and there was talk of an England call and Tottenham was watching him. He was a class keeper that year. But last season he was awful, Sven tried to replace him at every possible chance with Chris Kirkland and Ricardo who was worse and Chris Weale never recovered. His confidence had been rocked. Hopefully now Nigel is back he can regain his confidence and push Kasper for a shirt. Im not saying he is as good as Kasper because he isnt but it will only improve Schmeichel

Matt Oakley has just returned from Exeter and may play a squad role again as i think Nigel will prefer Oakley to Yuki Abe

Bruno Berner might get a look in and maybe he will be offered a new contract as player coach like Chris Powell was as we still havent replaced Didi Hamann.

Howard was talking the other week and how Sven going has installed fight back into the team and leadership. Nigel will defiantly give the team that

Lloyd Dyer has only been a squad player here under Sven and was a regular under Nigel. As our only winger he will probaly get more chances now

Tunchevs injuries have cost him either way but maybe he can get fit and challenge Bamba and Mills.

Martyn Waghorn i imagine would be recalled some time today with Nigels return and Vassell's injury. If we can get him back to what he was here when he was on loan he will be like a new signing and hopefully he can justify the 3M price tag he has got

And Andy King has been crap for ages now, Nigel was the first manager to give King a chance and he took it, maybe Nigel will help King regain some form and get back to what he does best, scoring goals

So who do you think is in trouble with Nigels return and who will be back in favour

The clear one for me is dyer as he is our only proven winger and was used alot under pearson. he will keep the faith with king but with our options in the middle he may not have long to convince if he struggles especially with danns and johnson. With vassell injured beckford will be playing more consistently now and so needs to perform. he has about 7 weeks to prove himself before nige may opt for a striker in january.
