New kit launch today. Firstly I’ve never been a fan of new Home & Away kits every season.. I preferred when kits were for 2 seasons and alternated new home kit, then new away kit.

Not immediately convinced by the home kit. I love that the video launch includes Stewart & Reuser in an obvious nod to 2000/01 season and that some money goes to Darby Rimmer MND Foundation on behalf of Marcus Stewart. It might grow on me, but I prefer last seasons shirt.

    That away kit though :emoticon-0115-inlov

I’ve never bought a new kit and don’t plan to this season, but that away shirt has tempted me

In my (early) 50's, and I've never bought a new kit. I tend to wait 10-15 years before buying a retro kit lol.
Don't really like the hone kit, moreoso the collars look awful.
Surprisingly like the orange away kit, but could never wear it, way too lary for me.
Wonder if they'll pull another quality 3rd kit out of the bag.

To my mind the retro design smacks a bit of laziness, but like Stretchyboy I'm not one to shell out on the latest kit.As long as those wearing it do so with pride!

The Liverpool away kit marketing is interesting. Marketed as a throwback to the 90s with a decidedly 80s graphics pattern that would have been felt in bad taste in the 90s.

The new Town shirts are underwhelming but they usually grow on me, with the odd exception like the Alex Mathie era blue and white fade and burgundy / green kits, the Magical Vegas logo kits and anything with a Marcus Evans logo on it.

The orange away kit looks brilliant. I don’t buy replica Town tops these days, now I’m in my early 30s. Having said that, a look around any Ipswich pub on match day shows that plenty of adults still buy them!

My wife did buy me the black third kit from last season though and it’s nice to wear.

Sorry Hamps, I have the red away shirt with ME on it. got it a few years ago with my favourite price tag (reduced) on it. It only comes out when we go on our happy hols & then only the once.
I agree that the new orange kit is great, but won,t be purchasing until they are available on the reduced rail.

I have an early 2000s shirt (when we were sponsored by TXU Energy)which my sister bought my wife as a joke to wear on her hen do!

I also bought the UEFA Cup celebration shirt (white with pinstripes,Pioneer sponsored)which I used credit points from the Club following COVID lockdown.

Both used as sports/cycling tops and the UEFA for occasional matchdays.

The pioneer White with pinstripes is probably my all time favourite kit.
2nd would be the home Radio Orwell strip with the thick white, and thin red bands.

I’d love to get my hands on some of the original kits with the kit manufacturer logos. The Copa orange 1982 shirt was nice but they didn’t have the rights to use the adidas stripes even, so bears not too much resemblance to the real kit.
