You said back to the 1950 originally was is way more than half a century. No, I wouldn’t like to see the attitudes there were in the 1950s towards blacks and gays for example. But now they try and restrict any criticism of certain demographics or religions.

What you want is not freedom of speech, it’s freedom from consequences.

No one can stop you saying whatever you want, but you also can’t stop people finding it offensive or hurtful or control the way society (and maybe the law) would judge you as a result.

You’re actually just revealing that the real issue is that you’re scared of the consequences of voicing your true, and likely horribly offensive, opinions about those groups.

Horribly offensive to you may not be horribly offensive to others. Your opinions might be horribly offensive to others.
