Home kit - the sponsor's name should be in black. Away kit - nicer than home kit. Very similar to the away kit in Laudrup's first season, I seem to remember. I like stripes. The black and green combination in Martinez day was awesome.
I prefer it to last years awful kits. However Joma are still second rate and I can't wait until we change supplier.
What is it with these collars. I quite like the away kit as Lib says goes back to our red and green one with adidas. You cant really do much wrong with a white kit, but they have tried with that collar. As per usual, I must be old and well out of date, my son likes the white one and not sure about the away and I was the opposite as we were on last seasons kit. Still that's what we have and as long as the players do a job in it I am not that bothered. I wont spend any money at the club anyway.
Dont fall for it.....A new kit was not needed, It is just a way to fleece more money out of the fans. Clubs buy these shirts for around a tenner and sell it to you for around £45 which is over a 300% profit.....Dont be a mug....
Away kit is boring to me. It only reminds me of the away Centenary kit because of the colours, but it has none of the style or class that Adidas brought to it. I like the collar on the home kit actually - it's a nice touch. Both are ruined by the Joma Wild West font.
Seems we won't be wearing the new kit at all against Southampton as both our home and away kits clash with Southampton's new kit. There's the possibility of producing a third kit, or wearing last seasons blue kit with the LETOU logo on the front. We wore that blue kit 5 times last season and lost each time...... I think we should go skins against them - at least they won't be able to grab our shirts. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-wont-allowed-wear-13261499
Could do I guess, but not sure if there's a law that makes them change or if it's just up to the clubs. Southamptons away kit is Black and green stripes......
It's to do with the fact that Southampton don't have stripes this year on their home kit - it's kind of an inverted Ajax kit, so a half red half white effort. please log in to view this image
