This is not another post regarding what colour we play in
But does anybody know when we can buy the new kit?
With the season on a couple of weeks away
I thought it would be out by now

RT @bluebirdsmad: when are the new home shirts on sale ! !!!!!!!

I was up close and personal with the blue one on Tuesday night. It doesn't look too bad tbf (if you can get past the badge).
Cynical H isnt surprised they aren't releasing both of them at the same time though.

any predictions as to whether they will sell (say at the same level the home kit usually sells every year) or not?

I think that depends on our start, I think we will see more and more of them as the season goes on.

Swamp, I think they will both sell but I doubt at the same rate a normal...at least not initially. As people get used to it and, as DJ says, IF results go well from the off then sales will probably increase.

It would be interesting to know how many the club ordered from the supplier considering there is no pre-order system in place for fans.

I don't wear replica shirts so wouldn't have got one anyway but I can't see the sales reaching that of last seasons at all.

People will think "Do I really want to wear the red one with all this KCB stuff going?" and even that hesitation will be enough to dent sales I recon. Not to mention those who wont buy it because it's red, and those who know people who are of the KCB persuasion regardless of their own opinion as they'll get stick in the pub.

They may seem flimsy reasons, but all are kind of sub-conscience and I think they will have a very real effect.

That said, the away shirt will pick up some of the slack.

EDIT - I'd said the "home shirt will pick up some of the slack". d'oh!

I will definately be wearing the new red shirt this season and so will the majority of Malaysian football fans (who as we all know - believe its a lucky colour)
which means we will outsell most clubs in the first two divisions - barring the top 7-8 premier clubs

It'll be interesting as I think quite a few will buy a red shirt to show support. No one knows if those will outnumber the usual amount of people who buy the new home shirt anyway.

I don't wear replica shirts, but I considered buying one as a show of solidarity with the Malaysians. It could work either way.

All I care about is being top the league a week on Friday and trying to stay there tbh though.

Bought my 1st replica shirt last season (the Mrs. recons I'm into my second childhood) If they have an offer on Friday at the I LOVE THE CITY 2012 re-opening I might buy the red one.
