Our last home fixture of the season against WBA should see the launch of our new home kit for 2013-14. This got me thinking as to which kit is my all time fave and I reckon the Admiral kit from 1976-77 takes some beating. View attachment 23299 See our kit history here: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Norwich_City/Norwich_City.htm Our 1926-27 home kit would make a great away kit IMO What's your favourite?
1972-73 with the green socks. Which from memory is what we wore at the League Cup Final. Lush green pitch, Spurs in all white. It looked a dream. Doesn't even matter that we lost.
I still like the Fosters Lager 87-89 kit. Visions of Disco Dale dancing down the wing plus it was my first real kit as a kid
I think all the recent ones have been very good. So rare to have a sequence of shirts that have been good and not completely mental. The white, green and now black away shirts are great, the home shirts simple and The Aviva logo actually works (Norwich Cathedral) some little retro nods here and there as well which is nice. In an age where the goalkeeper usually gets a complete dogs dinner of a kit (Bright pink? Camouflage?) I think our keeper kits are exceptional. The latest home keeper kit is one of the classiest out there I reckon.
I really like the previous home shirt. The retro style on the collar and cuffs I thought was pretty cool, plus it was a great video to advertise it. I didn't really like this years but I liked the away kit. I like black away kits and hope this seasons is the same.
