I wonder what he is like. It is good to see that we have taken a look at different back up keepers instead of signing Tommy Forecast.
heard rumours that forecast had played in a pre-season for Orient so maybe he is going somewhere else? Have to agree that I'm glad we are not wasting money on forecast who would never be first choice keeper and hence a waste.
Forecast stepped in for Orient as both of their keepers were injured. It didn't sound like it was a permanent fixture more that he filled the gap for that game. Also is that George Howard in the clubs team photo then and not Tom Gowans?
Well he was at Palace game and I remember him being a blonde kid and the mysterious keeper in the photo is blonde? Probably cluctching at straws though
just asked who was the other goalkeeper in the squad picture on the cover it live feature on the website and it was very skilfully avoided! Seems that the mystery will go on forever! Seems very strange for the club to include someone who is not a member of the squad officially in the picture!
Very surprised about this but I have got a reply. It turns out it was George Howard in the squad photo yesterday which is strange when he isn't even our player. @TheGillsFC '@HOADIE_OFFICIAL Howard was in yesterday's squad picture' Very interesting. https://twitter.com/TheGillsFC/with_replies
Still very strange to have someone in the team photo when he isn't actually part of the team yet, or is he?
Imagine its only a matter of time if they put him in the team picture and Allen has spoke about him specifically.
Wonder what he is like. Hopefully he will be good as Martin Allen must have seen enough of him at Bromley to bring him in on trial, also he would be cheap which is good and also he is young so he will get better and that is good to have a young keeper under Nelson as it would be good to see that we have one for the future which is better than bringing in Forecast.
