http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...offer-Julian-Speroni-contract-end-season.html Crystal Palace will table a formal contract offer to goalkeeper Julian Speroni next month. The Argentine has been one of Palaceâs players of the season, helping them maintain their Barclays Premier League status following promotion with a string of superb displays. Speroni is out of contract this summer and his future has been uncertain as a result, and Leicester and Sunderland are two of the clubs who have been monitoring him, but manager Tony Pulis will undoubtedly want to hold onto the man who has kept 12 clean sheets in 36 games for the Eagles this campaign. The 34-year-old is currently the longest serving player at Selhurst Park, having signed for the club from Dundee in 2004, making 347 appearances in that time. And despite still being uncapped at international level, he will also be harbouring hopes that his form this season will have caught the eye of Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella ahead of this summer's World Cup. Not sure why we would want a 34 year old keeper but there we are The Daily Fail so take it with a pinch of salt Mannone and Speroni could make for some glorious songs however!
westy? when`s his contract up? injury knackered him altogether? taking a long time to mend. random thoughts.
Yes, although as Gustavo Gonads mentioned, Ustari has looked OK in the games he's played in Pickford also coming through, he's 20 now
He's massively rated, and the key is he's supposedly switched on to ****, that's cost us in the past, Alnwick, Noble etc
