Our little 2 year old is going through the 'no like it' stage, but one thing she does like and is completely mesmerised by is her little book collection. When the social distancing restrictions are over, I'm going to teach her to read. Having been involved in early years education, I know that there's a definite boy/girl divide when it comes to reading. Obviously it isn't universal but there is overwhelming evidence that boys are reluctant readers. My eldest could read at 2 going on 3. The youngest didn't like reading, as in he was a good reader from an early age but didn't enjoy it very much.

The Nike tag-line for the new kit is: ‘Tell us never, when the world thinks it can’t be done, boss it!’
Apparently selling out fast on Nike website and massive queues on the Liverpool website. Good money for Liverpool I guess
This season's NB kit is our most popular and fastest selling kit ever. After selling 1.7m shirts they had to ask NB to make more. The 19/20 winners shirt with the gold lettering sold out almost immediately. The new Nike kit is going the same way with reports of long queues and massive pre-orders online. The deal with Nike is £30m plus 20% on all sales which, if the current rate of sales continues, more than doubles that £30m. Come on lads and lasses get buying - we'll soon have enough to afford Mbappe ......
That was the whole issue with NB. Just weren’t a big enough company to deal with the demand across the world. Something Nike can and should be able to do.
One of the driving forces for fans is if the players are wearing it, we want to wear it. The whole point of being a fan is associating with the club/team/players. I haven't checked but have we ever had a kit that flopped and just didn't sell well?
We've had some shockers but there will always be some that still like them Equally, there will always be some that will buy anything with a Liverpool logo on it too
I agree on both points I have one replica shirt, the cream 96/97 away. It was bought for me. I've got lots of LFC tshirts, scarves and gloves, all presents, I've never bought myself anything. We were too strapped for cash when our boys were growing up to get them replica kits but they've had lots of LFC stuff for presents since.including a couple of Is Right 19 tshirts a few weeks ago from the site organic recommended to me.
