What was your opinion of the new kit now it's been seen in a competitive situation,I have only seen highlights on YouTube but got to say I don't like it and it just dosnt seem right without the strips

Having not been too sure at first, the new kits have won me over after seeing them on the players

I dont think it helped that the main model for them when they were announced was Rickie :cheesy:

Couldn't really see the pinstripes, but it looks nice up close.

Think it looks class tbh, changing the kit isn't a bad thing. We can't have stripes every season..

Will they wash off? I'd go batshit if I got chocolate on my sash kit.

    I really like both shirts.

HOWEVER. The home kit as a whole looks too much and watching the video of the Anderlecht goal I didn't really recognise it as Saints. I find it annoying when people say "it's not Saints" but that's how I felt watching it.

I think the away kit is really nice. I have bought the home shirt and intend to perhaps buy the away later on in the season.

DTLW . You hit the nail on the head. I was at the games yesterday and felt the same.

It's the first time we wore it and it's different, I don't know if you expected it to seem instantly familiar?

The sash looked strange at first, then I very quickly got used to it. It happens every time something changes dramatically :p

I'll get used to it by all means, it was just a rather odd feeling seeing us in all red for the first time I can remember.

Its terrible. Shockingly awful & looked like another team playing on our pitch.

The away kit is more acceptable as a home kit.

Really **** decision by the club (Cortese).

The pinstripes should be thicker but other than that I like it <ok> not keen on the away kit though

Agreed. When I watched the highlights of the goals, I did not feel as if I was watching Saints. It looks basically like an all red kit. I still don´t know the reasoning behind it. Does anyone?
....The away kit is very nice though. I think it looks very smart. When we play a team like Chelsea away and both home and away kits would be acceptable, I hope we use the away kit.
