Kit says a lot about the direction Bristol City are heading. Unoriginal template used by other clubs reeks of a lack of care and pride.
As the club are buying a product they do have the opportunity to not purchase the same basic design as Hull. Last season blue was part of the away kit, this season a large section of the home shirt is black, two gimmicks deviating from history in two seasons, both down to the clubs commercial department. The clubs identity is now being changed due to those who do not even support Bristol City e.g Southampton.
Kit doesn't look like City. Yesterday at the Gow testimonial City were in a red and white kit. Proper City colours. This black and red job just smacks of we dont give a **** what fans think or about your history.
