Spent an hour reading up on Jansen and now I'd be absolutely gutted if its Still and not him.

Really really poor way to run a football club. Would be really disappointed if KLD is anywhere near the coach search. The DoF head coach relationship is the most crucial at the club, why damage it?
He loves a cut and paste that lad, loves telling us who it won’t be but never tells us anything new.
Completely disagree that KLD shouldn't be "anywhere near the coach search". Speakman should be empowered to run the process and make the decision, but its absolutely acceptable for KLD to offer his opinion / suggestions. And impractical to think he shouldn't.
I honestly don't think it is compatible or understandable. It's a damaging way to run this model and it flat out doesn't work. If you don't trust Speakman 100% to pick the head coach, replace him. Its just not a good way to run a football club.
On Speakmans watch we ended up with Beale, do you blame KLD for removing him from the search? As to the DoF, I agree, but I believe KLD has loads of professionals behind him and installing a new one won't be a problem
Thats fine, just don't expect the club to attract top people in decision making positions if they aren't allowed to make the decisions.
I blame him for not removing speakman yes. If you don't trust the DoF to do their job to the fullest extent why the **** is he still here?
Its not about not trusting. Its about having ownership and personal investment into high profile appointments at the club.
You can trust somebody 100% whilst also working together to come up with an outcome.

I think Speakman presenting the man and KLD giving final sign off is perfectly normal.
When I changed jobs start of the years I did a 4 stage interview process, my gaffer wanted me but I had to sit down with directors to get final ‘ok’.
