Very wise mate.

I'm as naive as any supporter but the fact remains we're paying for entertainment, not making an investment ...

... we believe we are because 'we invest our time, effort and money' but it's a grandiose idea.

It makes me laugh when football fans say they want their club back, nice ideal but nonsense if we're being honest.
To be fair Smug when Speakman says, “ Aligning and engaging with supporters, businesses and communities”, he is setting himself up for a fall. No one is expecting them to tell us who they are interviewing but it would be nice to “engage” with the fans and have some sort of communication. Anything but silence is better because then people will make their own minds up. The club has set the guidelines for communicating, so then to go this long without a peep isn’t really keeping to the standards they have set.

Rosenior would be a ****e appointment. Utterly ****e, and would just prove how ****ing useless Speakman is.

3 month of planning for our next head coach to end up with a bloke who failed to get a better team than us into the playoffs, who was sacked only a couple of weeks ago, whilst playing some of the dullest football I’ve ever seen.

Not exactly forward thinking, and really hope we don’t end up with him.

Unless you’ve got a hand written letter from KLD himself is there any truth in us being interested though? :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

They sold the club imo to make a few quid... Those who think this is all just going to fade into the back ground, well they are idiots. The BCB debacle is a lifetime stain on the club AND its supporters.

Give it 5 years and no one will remember it hardly. No one was hurt or injured. Bradford stadium fire, Hillsborough etc are lifetime events. A decorators prank that was resolved is utterly insignificant in the grand scheme. Think some perspective is required.

Agreed but there's no point arguing that, seems to just make people dig in.

See I don’t fully agree he’s a young manager that hasn’t been managing long, has a lot of potential. He just plays a possession based style is that not what maresca does at Leicester too?

Aye it'd be ****e having a coach likely to get us in playoff contention, can't think of anything worse.

Who do you want instead and why?

I've said before that Rosenior wouldn't be a l good appointment but i've changed my tune a bit. He just needs to find a way for his teams to create more chances and score more goals.

This season his Hull team ranked mid table for data points such as; xG, big chances created, goals per game and touches in the opposition box, while ranking near the top for possession and passes per game. Just needs to add some purpose to the possession.

He's been linked to the Burnley job and even the Brighton job so he's clearly doing something right.

I don't think he'll come though considering the reports of him not wanting to relocate.

Hulls xG last season was less than both ours and Blackburn by the way, and we were both f*cking dreadful - whilst they had a much stronger squad than both of us, filled with PL loanees.

How someone can make a case for us to hire a manager that failed to get play offs in the championship with a very strong squad playing crap football yet say Still, who was 4 points off qualifying for europe in a better league, is nothing special. Not even an opinion that it’s just nonsense.

I think Rosenior will have a good career, but I don't think his style of play would suit us as a club. We need someone who will have the team up for it and in the oppositions faces. We need to get the crowd involved alot more.

One thing that concerns me, is that we've got, what, 5?!?!? Lads fans on the board, and none of them have piped up and explained what would suit us as a club. I know everyone has different opinions but I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to work out what would suit us

There are signs. Mags fa cup for one. And I will never buy the “ we knew nothing about it “ bollocks either.Went for the ££££ over fans

Agree to a certain extent, truth probably lies somewhere between completely misreading the situation/nature of the game & trying to raise income to kove the club forward.....problem now is its done, whats done is done & we have passed the point that, although its not totally forgotten there is a line in the sand where people either forget it to a considerable extent or this club never moves forward & holding on to it becomes counter productive.....the more we make of it the more the kerts up the road lap it up.....put it this way, did you/anyone else enjoy the last PL season & Championship under short plus SD in L1 or the thinking since KLD came in.....its time to move on or stop holding things as deep or some wont ever enjoy this club from that moment forward
