Fishpaste reckons we could hear news over the weekend and people on
So Magnus is saying it’s done, same with a couple OTR and one is saying it’s not done but close haha. Hopefully we get a report soon but to me it sounds like everyone is hearing it’s extremely close which is a positive :emoticon-0100-smile
And Gary Bennett is saying we are no where close.

We shall see.

Time to chill lads <cheers>

Mate, the only thing I know for a fact is he [William Still] Was here almost 2 weeks ago.
Then I got told as I said last week nothing was finalised.
If Magnus says there is another face that fits, champion, I will take that, the agent who 1st introduced Still to S Harvey and KS is adamant he's the 1.
I do hope he is wrong, and Klops left hand man gets a shout.

I'm drawn to klopps left hand man Peter, and Steve Cooper. Peter especially now since klopp left Liverpool and he came into the frame.
Will Still I will be happy with the appointment but his attitude at his club after they stuck by him, and the downward spiral of results since leaves me sceptical.
I will still support him of course.
(Excuse the pun) <laugh>

Peter Krowietz seems an exciting choice for me now and I really hope it's him.

They’ve had a rocky relationship since day one, he was forced to be the head coach as they said he’d have to pay €600,000 to get out of his contract when Oscar Garcia left as he wanted to go with him as his assistant

Who ? Still ?

Who ? Still ?

Yeah, they were absolutely ruthless. Have to remember this is a guy barely out of his thirties who didn't have wealth accumulated from a playing career.

The relationship must have been strained for quite some time. Add in the players sold and not replaced and I don't really think the board have the right to criticise him for having his head turned.

Fair comment apart from "guy" <laugh>

Sacking Mowbrey was correct. We were poor for 6-8 games. Replacing him with Beale was the problem
So any manager who has a poor 6-8 game run needs sacking? Why?

As someone has already mentioned the 5 Why's? ...
Ask Why just the once and blame lands too easily in the wrong place like those given the task of sticking to a strategy and budget.

Who is he

Magnus is a great itk

You don't need a clean slate if the coaches are good, liked by the players and the new manager wants them

They have proven when given greater levels of responsibility, that they are not good. We have went from play off contenders to 16th whilst losing 90% of the games they were in charge of.

They can get back to the AOL and have nothing to do with the front bench or find new employment. We need to progress as a club , and tough decisions need to be made.

Thankfully, they are.

I'm not sure why people get so upset by them. Logic would indicate that they've performed their original roles well. It's only when they've been put in temporary charge that things haven't gone so well, and that's not solely their fault. Losing Dodds, particularly, from his player development role is a loss to the club. The animosity towards them is just scapegoating in my opinion.

100%.
Otherwise well liked and well respected within the club so let them go back to what they are good at

I think that it is the manner of defeats. If your losing games, but all be it narrowly then I would give time to let the manager/coach try and get the team to play his way or style. If it looks like they have no clue and we're getting walloped, then I would have no issue!!
