No idea how they got away with thatTo be fair, I know what you mean but they just subbed the man being sent off, so was still 11.

As others have said, he's gone, so it should be put to bed.Attacked, haway man, there were no dissenting voices when he was introduced at the SoL, he applauded the fans for his nieces tribute later on. Like I said not one player has come out and defended him. People are allowed to admit they were wrong about him, they don’t have to perpetuate the story that a few fans crying about his accent actually made him a **** head coach.
As a fan all you can do is go there and support, we have nothing to do with tactics which the players clearly couldn’t get to grips with. You think the abuse made him perform worse, I don’t, I fail to see how that affects tactics and team performances, but we are allowed to disagree. However back to my original point, when defending Dodds, the response is the players liked him. I just think their lack of response to Beales sacking tells a different story. As others have said, he's gone, so it should be put to bed.
I will say this though, no one is saying that results were the fan's fault. However, the level and nature of the abuse the bloke got, particularly online, was unacceptable and an embarrassment to us as a fanbase.
In addition, that abuse was clearly getting to him, or he wouldn't have reacted the way he did, and prevented him from performing to his best, even if that best wasn't good enough. Surely, as a fan, you get behind anyone who is trying to win games for the club, not do your best to undermine them?
Are we getting a Spanish gaffer then? Bloody interent ITKs...As a fan all you can do is go there and support, we have nothing to do with tactics which the players clearly couldn’t get to grips with. We are all different or it would be a **** message board, I won’t persuade you otherwise and you certainly won’t with me. Right I’m off to learn a bit more Spanish whilst watching Russians getting mashed by drones on YouTube

He is a master at it already. He has always wanted to do that, and when younger he would lose it sometimes. But I always felt it was lart of hia game that would make him elite level. I think Neil didnt trust that side of his game but Mowbray encouraged it. He is now just so hard to get the ball off, and when he is in trouble he has learned the dark art of falling over on top of the ball and winning a free kick.Dan Neil is great at turning away from people to make space, he reminds me of Porterfield

I’ve no doubt there were some odd people, but overall there wasn’t until the bastard final whistle wentTo be fair I was at Beale's first game and about 15 minutes in there was a bloke up against the advertising boards going absolutely off his nut at Beale calling him all sorts. Maybe he was the only one, seems unlikely, but it's a fact there was at least one dissenting voice, to put it mildly.
I think most , if not the majority of supporters, were/are more experienced than Speakman in looking at Beale and knew exactly how it was going to end. Dare I say, told you so Kristian.Personally I think he was always the wrong choice based on his record. He had never managed a full season and was sacked with Rangers behind St.Mirren in the league.
Couldn't care less where he's from or his accent - he was never going to succeed due to being a poor manager. That's why a lot of support was negative towards the appointment. Speakman thought he knew best - he couldn't have got it more wrong.
Fast forward and we have the same football director having a major say in selecting the next head coach along with his failure of a mate who also has done nowt in the game at a high level. (excepting 2 disastrous temporary spells as caretaker).
This is concerning because it screams mediocrity and jobs for the boys or yes men who will work with the current coaches doesn't fill me with confidence.
Really?!I think most , if not the majority of supporters, were/are more experienced than Speakman in looking at Beale and knew exactly how it was going to end. Dare I say, told you so Kristian.
I think the worst of the abuse was probably online, to be honest. I'm sure the response to that will be "well, he should log off then" but the fact is that social media and the online world are so all encompassing in our lives that it's not easy to ignore. To be fair I was at Beale's first game and about 15 minutes in there was a bloke up against the advertising boards going absolutely off his nut at Beale calling him all sorts. With our luck with injuries, we’ll be using that 1 sub within 5 minutes!Back in the day mate, when we had one sub. None of this fancy warm up, come out 2 minutes before kick off, jump around and then right at it
Yep agreed.I was at Beales first game and there was absolutely horrific abuse, including when he was introduced to the crowd and it was alot more than a few. I was so ashamed to be a sunderland supported that day!
There were a bunch of people by me booed as he came down the tunnel and shouting get out of our club. He won’t have heard the words but maybe the booing.. Disgraceful behaviour. The online comments created the environment for that.I was at Beales first game and there was absolutely horrific abuse, including when he was introduced to the crowd and it was alot more than a few.
