I’m totally calm and at ease. I think they all have the wrong end of the stick with who’s coming in. He’s actually a very well thought of coach at Real Madrid, being shaped as a future manager and we have lured him away, it’s a major coup really.
Miguel Bîalè is the name, speaks fluent Spanish, French, English and German, also has a working knowledge of Klingon.
Hates the Mags too!

It's not out of sync. Your being told to move. Some have sat in that seat all their life. For a mag.

Sorry like. Don't get any Sunderland fan who things this is acceptable.

**** off questioning whether I’m a fan or not mate.

I’m sure the club will explain why it’s had to be done this way.

Not questioning if you're a fan. I am saying I don't understand how any single single fan can have a rationale accord to move out the way for a Newcastle fan. In our home ground.

Because there HAS to be a reason it’s been done. The club haven’t intentionally thought “let’s be nice to Newcastle and piss our fans off”. What the club are being accused off makes no sense. And people are jumping straight to outrage about it and missing that fact.

This is why I hope the club come out and explain the process in detail, so that it’s understood. Some will never agree with it. But there isn’t a chance in hell the club have chosen to do this for giggles.

Lots of it is. But it's not the time of place.

Just think it's major bad form. Newcastle deserve nowt from us, and our fans shouldn't have to make way for them.
We enter a cup competition that has explicit rules about away fan allocation.
We draw our rivals.
They demand their full allocation
Safety Advisory Group determines 6000 is reasonable
The club have no right to reply.

What do you think the club could have done differently?

Is there not a different thread for the Newcastle game?

Beale. Not an overly inspiring choice, however that's based on what fans at rangers say about him. But I think he had a decent win rate there, and it's mainly his transfers they weren't happy with ?
If he comes in as head coach, with limited say in the transfers then he could do a decent job with us.

I feel a disturbance in the force.....

I agree wholeheartedly with @Prehab26 posts about this. Not that he will see this as I'm ignore as we don't agree on anything apart from this :emoticon-0102-bigsm

If the rules and regulations mean we have to give them 6,000 seats, where would you put them?

Fact is the following.

They have ****ed up the north stand issue for years. Allowing more and more issues, without suitable safety.

Such issues has meant a greater SAG, however this includes wider folk, not many Sunderland these days.

Because they didn't sort the issue of missiles and such, they have now had to accommodate mags below because Sunderland can not sit under...

Sunderland fans, now have to move due to the above.

Just ****.

I agree the north stand and away fans situation has been **** for years. I just don’t know what the club could have done differently for this, IF they’re being forced to give Newcastle 6,000 tickets, and the police are saying this is the safest way to do it

if we are saying the away fans should have been moved to the bottom by now, then surely those fans being displaced for just one game, would be even more upset being displaced permanently?

We don't have to give them 6,000. The allocation is UP to 15% Subject to safety group approval.

If our existing away end was fit for purpose and the problems highlighted previously been dealt with, they would be in the north upper with a 5k allocation.

The fact the club sat in their hands and hoped the away fan problem would go away without doing anything has now bit them on the arae and the club have had to move season ticket holders

See last post.
Sen it, and whilst I agree re North Stand issues it doesn't necessarily lead to the mags getting 6k in the North Stand.
You could trace this back to Quinn's daft ****ing idea to move the away fans from the area that the stadium was designed for

But, we are where we are right now and if the away fans are in the North Stand Upper, then doesn't it seem a logical idea to put the rest of them in the North Stand Lower? Bearing in mind that we have no say over the allocation for the cup game

Because they have ****ed up the safety so the top and bottom is the only solution. It's our fault.

We could have lobbied much stronger too in the SAG but I won't go into it.

Really bloody poor and I see hell on for this fixture.
