He may well bring in who he wants, only problem with a manager bringing in all his own staff is if it goes wrong it costs a lot more money to get rid of them all
Also listening to Dodds and how he operated as interim head coach he just comes off as a massive loser, just the vibes I get. The whole mentality at the club has dropped significantly and the standards were in the gutter
If Still is head coach, they won't have final say on tactics. I think there's very little evidence to say that they aren't good coaches but the fact that they were entrusted with running the first team (even if they weren't particularly up to it) would suggest that their coaching was considered good enough, within the club, to hold that role temporarily.
Possible reason why it's taking so long https://www.sunderlandafc.news/news...K-kgiu8xjaYs0BxDeJvdz3U2ndHARwr5lF9urm10nLx0e
I doubt it personally, the article was based off of a lot of "COULD not be completed" when Still posted on Instagram the other week that he was already on his last week of the course.
It wasn’t, it was the last of the required licenses he needs to do to pretty much manage in europes big leagues, it does take a few weeks to complete, that was him beginning
Could have sworn he said it was his last week, even if so he started the last block, that article suggests he might not have it completed in 3 years time
I keep thinking this, surely it is in Still's (or whoever the next head coach is) interest to keep Dodds and Proctor in situ, at least initially, to see what they're like, assess their abilities and their compatibility with Still's own vision. For all he knows they could be the best, most ideologically aligned, coaches he could work with. If it's not the case and they don't fit what he wants then they can arrange for them to move on. I just don't see how it's in anyone's interest for them to be out before the new man comes in unless the coaching team would otherwise be too bloated.
According to this he started his UEFA Pro Licence in March last year. https://talksport.com/football/1363115/reims-will-still-fines-pro-licence-west-ham/
I am sure he said on his IG Story that it was his last block mind and that was like a few weeks ago to a month ago maybe longer
@ChrisReevo EXC: Understand Will Still is one of the candidates spoken with by Norwich City to become the new Head Coach. He’s been at the Lotus Training Centre earlier this week. #NCFC
Obviously it shouldn't happen unless he's appointed there but if he is the meltdown would be fully justified. Pushing 100 days without a head coach now and the only people saying we're even interested in Still are ITKs on this board.
