I should have posted about this before, but I didn't know it was going "live" so soon. The Vbulletin platform that Mick has been using for this forum is not what it was - the newer versions 4 and 5 have been full of bugs and gremlins to the extent that Mick has decided not to upgrade. Instead he has been working for the past few months in transferring the site to the Xenforo platform as it offers far more stability. Most of this stuff is way beyond me, suffice to say that it should all augur well for the future. There will undoubtedly be teething problems coming to grips with the new software for us using it as well as him transferring it. If anyone has any problems, just post them up and I'll pass them on as best I can.
Ye, I posted a 1-1 draw on the prediction league with Adeyemi scoring, and it came up as a 1-0 win with KWJ scoring...fugging system...all over the place Sparkey! Oh, and that's me second right pal!
The problem for me was that I had bookmarked the previous forum and when I clicked on it this morning received an error message. At a guess I suspect many posters may not realise the forum has changed and may also be receiving error messages.
BluefromBridgend has asked me to let you all know he is unable to contribute to the forum until he returns to work next week when he will be able to reset his pasword. I don't think it's a problem with the new site, more he is getting a bit forgetful in his old age LOL . In the meantime BfB is keeping a watchful eye on proceedings and no doubt will be back to his usual contribution levels in no time!
