Probably the right choice out of the candidates. If he breathes his manifesto then the world of football may be in good hands
I tend to agree, but the way things are with FIFA I half expect some dodgy revelations coming out about him in the coming weeks..
There are still a lot of cronies in there with skeletons in their cupboards. Call me an old cynic, but I don't see much changing too quickly.
That would seem likely to me. I honestly don`t see anyone with any connections to the old regime being accepted. Too many shady goings on imo.
FIFA has a lot of work to do to undo the damage done by Blatter and the dozens of other corrupt money grabbers. I'm talking decades of transparency without even a hint of anything dodgy before anybody truly trusts the organisation. So on that basis I don't give a hoot who the new boss is, I don't trust any of them. Ask me again in thirty years.
Best of a bad bunch for me, the last thing I wanted was a Sheikh in control of this sport. The amount of future tournaments being held in stupid countries like Qatar would have gone through the roof. No traces of money because they'll be privately trading oil deals and it would be too hard to prove, international football would have been killed by these people. Let's hope baldy can at least stop things getting worse.
