Triallist Fabian Broghammers main position: Attacking Midfield although he can play on the left midfield so he could replace Lund however no one knows anything about him? that leaves a replacement for Caryol required. Who is going to partner Kenneth in the middle of defence?Norborn or have we secured the leicester boys. Carryon - Rogni Baldvinsson could well partner Kenneth at the back - also, perhaps Virgo will be given another chance - he's played for McGhee before I think. I'm fairly optimistic, even though harsh experience tells me otherwise! Clarkson and Kenneth are signings that I never thought I'd see in a Rovers shirt in L2 - it's testament to McGhee's pulling power that they've dropped down the leagues to join us. We need another keeper, a pacey striker (bye Zeb - never rated you, but best of luck all the same) and another central midfielder. Hopefully MM will be able to splash some of the Muzzy cash.... BB, Rogni I know nothing about so bow to your knowledge, as for Virgo he still has to get match fit following his nasty injury,my issue with him is that he appeared v slow when he played for us at the start of last season. Some of muzzys cash prob already gone on Kenneths 3 year contract and Clarkson (assume not so much on him)
We should be getting another striker, a loanee keeper and Gastronomic keeps making cryptic comments about a winger from VfB Wolfsburg!!!! Interesting times!
In our wildest dreams Chris! I like Elliot, but I will be surprised if he gets more than 12 goals for us this season, hence the need for another striker. If we do get someone decent in, then we should have a pretty effective strikeforce: Harrold, Richards, Clarkson and ....?
The pre season's been poor in terms of results, but I'm sure McGhee knows what he's doing and our expectations will rise once the season's a few games old.Wouldn't be surprised if we start slowly with a few poor results, though. The signings look really good, though. A Championship striker should do well in this league, and hopefully players like Richards and Anyinsah will make an impact this term.
