With the appointment of Peter Lawell to the SFA, at llast the cloak and dagger scenario will disappear. No more awarding European licences to any club which is in breach of the UEFA regulations on public tax liabilities. No more playing with words or blatant bias in favour of one club. No more, hopefully, Farrygate, Dallasgates, Dougiegates etc and hopefully someone to investigate the Charlotte Fakes evidence over the Rangers liquidation farce attempting to protect the WATP brigade. We have suffered 125 years of anti Celtic issues, since the Jimmy Quinn farce through the Flag debacle and onto Farrygate and on and on and on. Perhaps Scottish football will at last be rid of the anti Irish attitude that plagues Scottish society in general and at last rid of the tolerance of the sectarian employment policy tolerance which plagued the game and society in general. It took many people in SA many years to adjust to loss and dissolution of apartheid and for them to realise that the abolition of a same was not a form of racism against them, but simply an adjustment to normalisation, which like Scotland that society and its sport had to experienced for a century. The death of RFC was an opportunity to normalise scottish sport, but unfortunately too many who have realigned themselves to SEVCO are of the same diseased attitude. PL has a responsibility to campaign to make the game in Scotland honest.
