After the last two home games teething troubles, I left the boozer early to get in, in time for the KO. there must have been around 1000-1500 fans queing to get in around the stadium. I arrived at gates 5 on east stand at 2.45pm, there must have been around 600 in this que alone. I finally got in just after KO. This system still isnt working and its about time they sorted it. Its now getting ****ing annoying.
Dont tar us all with the same brush. Once again swipe your card, walk straight through no problem whatsoever. It will be the same people every week, you know the ones that don't leave the pub until 2.55
I used East Stand gate one today and had no trouble at about 2:35. There was plenty of people waiting, but it was moving quite smoothly.
I got there at 2:45 and was in the ground for 2:55, the queue looked massive but soon went down, that was also gates 1 to 5 of the East stand.
I got to turnstiles 1-5 at like 2.40 and had absolutely no problem. There must have been 30 people queueing between all the gates.
I arrived at about 2:45 and there was a massive queue to get into East stand but people were getting through quite quickly. I think part of the problem is it is so dark and dingy when you go through and the woman was standing there with her hand over the scanner for some reason. I am not thick believe me and certainly not drunk but I still fumbled a bit because I was trying to get through quickly. To those people who say there were in the ground at 2:20 etc. Sorry but I don't want to be in the ground that early.
I think i saw what the problem is today....when you scan your card you need to activate the turnstile before the next person scans or it goes tits up... that's why the stewards on the gates where putting their hands under the scanner, to stop impatient people scanning before the person in front had gone through....surely there is a simple solution to this...the scanner needs interlocking with the turnstile to turn off the laser or stop it scanning until the turnstile has revolved......simples
Initially the queue looked very big but that was because it was one big queue instead of separate ones for each turnstile , it actually moved very quickly
That'll be because no ****er else is there at 2:25... I missed the first 7 minutes of the game, as I did against Brighton, because the system's ****ed. I asked the bloke outside the ticket office what the problem was, and he told me that it broke down THREE TIMES today. You'd think that after 4 home matches, plus the Norwich friendly, they'd have figured the ****ing thing out. I used it before and after the game, funnily enough No problemo
Oi Chazz you daft twat. I whizzed through the East Stand turnstile today, just like I have done every game this season. It's all the blind old ****s everywhere else in the ground who can't suss it out.
