A few years ago we were constantly being linked to Tobagan 'wonderkid' Khaleem Hyland and according to wikipedia we quietly signed him but he doesnt get a workpermit until he has played in Europe for 3 years, that was in September 2008 and he has been on loan to Zulte Waragem ever since making 72 appearances (i am told), looking the part on footbal manager and it being almost 3 years does that mean we will have him in our squad soon? any clues?
Callum- you are absolutely correct We signed Khaleem Hyland from a club called San Juan Jabloteh in 2008, and then in 2009, after not making any appearances due to him not having a work permit, loaned him to Zulte Waregem where he has made 72 appearances, and in that time he has scored 5 goals. Internationally, he has 27 appearances and 3 goals. Looking at this information- it would be a decent signing and good addition to the squad. However, I would much rather we signed Paterson, Taylor- Fletcher or any other striker/attacking midfielder, although saying that anyone would do to add to our squad numbers !! PUP
Surely by now he must be eligible for a work permit to play in the U.K. ? Mind you, knowing our luck, if we sign him, we probably would immediately owe Spurs, Harry Redknapp and Peter Storrie a million quid each.
SAINTS - I like the look of your new signing as pictured. Although she's sure to walk into your 'star-studied' squad, I think she'll be incapable of heading a ball with all that 'glitsy' headgear.........
http://www.essevee.be/functions/spelers.asp?pnav=;3;10;&speler=71 from the clubs link it is clear that he at least exists and is still our player and if my belgian is any good then his contract (with them?) runs out in 2012 although hopefully we can recall him?
