    Jan rumours already.

Club are tracking a French left back Arthur Masuaku. 22years old plays for Olympiakos.

Scouts watched him last week in champions league.

Why would a CL defender sign for us?

Well if he does I hope he isn;t hung out to dry like our full-backs mostly have been this season!!

The less said about our defence the better.

That Southampton lad looks canny. Mind you so does YK when he is fit. Good at both ends of the field too, so far so good. Its a great shame the first game caught us so unprepared, in hindsight the result was not as unpredictable as it looked, and all four defenders were so shellshocked, its taken us nearly half a season and another upheaval to get over it. I hope lessons have been learned so that if we do stay up, and we do have a good chance imo, such poor preparation will not be allowed ever again, I am sure BSA would not be so naive as to let it happen under his watch.

There's loads of good ones out there. Getting them in seems to be the problem. How come we let Alonso go...?

I suspect Ellis had his pockets zipped tightly shut.

Short arms & long pockets. He'll have to dig out some cash come the new year or he'll be having his post-match pint in the director's boxes in Milton Keynes or Brentford next season.
