New dawn ? - I hope so Wiz, not a single win in January.

Know we had some tough games but I do feel some of it has been Cotterill inflicted.
Our best performances were against Championship Watford, no surprise to me - Gillett wasn't playing.
Then we get in players and start playing them and others out of position.
And Cotterill goes on about continuity !!!

Never have I felt so pissed off about City.

RP, whilst I can no longer get to see the games(probably a good thing), I do empathise, I cannot think of a time in the last 20 - 30 years where I have felt more disillusioned and pissed off than the last 2 years, and there is precious little sign of improvement. At least the last time we were in free fall through the leagues we were expecting it and knew why. Our current plight baffles me and is nowhere near the dire situation of the early 80's.

Supcon, I think that is exactly the right word: baffling.

If we lose today then I think we might just as well turn out the lights at Ashton Gate. Nobody is able, or willing, to tell us what the real problems are and until the time someone feeses up as to the reason why, then the masses will desert in record numbers.

A black era in the history of Bristol City will become even darker by tomorrow if the players fail again to do their job for which they receive above average salaries. Shockingly bad by my reckoning and for goodness sake show some dignity when you wear our shirt because up to now your lack of ability and commitment has been shocking. Haven't any of you got an ounce of personal respect left?

Cant say the players are showing a lack of commitment Mike. We are where we are really due to bad luck.... The amount of times a mistake has cost us all 3 points is a joke. Had we been top those mistakes would never go in. Yes sometimes we are outplayed. That's to do with the other 11 being better than ours. IMO all of this stops at one mans door.... SODs. Passion was ripped from this club when he was boss and I can honestly say he was the worse manager I've ever seen at AG. A lot of blame has to fall on his shoulders......

Have to say I agree with you Shiny. No one has answers Mike, it's Football sometimes teams are better than you and at the moment it takes luck to breed a young hungry team or pay through the nose for top players. If you don't get the support you don't get the funds. With crowds of 12k is not enough income to pay these fees so we rely on luck.
I've seen an improvement but we need to the players to get stuck in at the moment he's injured.

I started bringing my wife, who being Scottish had no association with city before. She used to enjoy it and we had season tickets for 4 years, even though we live 90 miles away. Last season we found pay as you go a better option but still went to 17 home games.

The last game we went to was that embarrassment at home to Sheffield United. My wife has not wanted to go since. Hardly any surprise ,that was one of the worst games of football I have ever been to and I doubt if we would have scored if we were still playing now.

Its not quite the same getting in the car, on your own to do 180 mile round trip without thinking you might at least get some entertainment, I think she's slowly coming round, but we both feel let down when you see many comments from fans about a lack of commitment on the pitch. Brentford away seemed to be another example of this.

Come on city! 45 years of following city, this is the first time I have sunk so low. That said, I will be there, Jack Jones on Tuesday!

Bet Shiny's happy as his midfield scoring machine has shown his better side.

We did it and we're out of the bottom four. Well done City and don't worry I'll pick up new heart tomorrow.

    Thank f*** for Marv!!
Coventry will be harder - we need more belief in the team to turn this round.
A rare happy start to a weekend. Well done City. Credit to SC for the subs and turning
    it round at half-time.

We have a good manager there. He certainly turned it around with the subs.

But, playing devil's advocate, did SC cause it with his initial team selection? His only redeeming factor for me is that he left Gillet out!
