Bruno Andrade, Jordan Gibbons, Joe Lumley and Jamie Sendles-White have been handed 12-month extensions to their current contracts in W12. Winger Andrade spent time on loan at League One outfit Stevenage, while Gibbons was handed the captain’s armband and featured 18 times for the U21s.Keeper Lumley started the final six games in his debut season, while team-mate Sendles-White featured 14 times before injury ended his season prematurely.

So we are developing some of the kids

I hope you are right. However our last few managers, Ollie was the last, have not brought on the youngsters they gave contracts to by giving them a chance in the first team. I'd like to think that some of the players who were given a run out on Saturday will indeed be given a chance to develop in the near future. Mind you in that respect we're as bad as the managers. When the transfer window opens we'll all be wanting Tony to break the bank on exciting new young players. The manager however (whoever it happens to be) will deliver with unexciting safe old ones and a shed load of 'lads wot have done well for me in the past' - players with names and 'illustrious pasts'. Hope that doesn't count as a negative post although anything from 'cynical', to 'world weary' to 'realistic' might be apt.

To be fair Beth, Andrade has been at the club 8 years. I saw him make his Prem debut at Wigan under Warnock in 2011. Hes hardly had any chances since
