Goalkeeper Tommy Forecast will this summer pen a new contract for the 2013/14 season.

    With Gillingham.

    Panic over.

    Gillingham fan in peace .

Not a bad signing for us to be honest, he is not the worlds best keeper but we have an established number one we are very happy with and a youth keeper coming through who came to us from Liverpools Academy that is supposedly our next big star. He always seemed happy to talk with supporters and seems to work hard on the training ground with the youngsters and the development team which is useful to have.

With you lot putting him up on a free there were really two options for Forecast, sign a MUCH smaller contract with us to benchwarm and play in the JPT or clear off down the non-league, play for penuts and start every game, I think he made the right choice!

Impossible to fall for this thread! Forecast, what a joke that guy is.

Will lie in the Saints history books alongside Anthony Pulis, except remembered as a total pr1ck aswell as being shockingly bad.

    However, good luck to him.

Great stat about Forecast, he has now won 3 back to back promotions, making 2 league appearences.

That must be an excusive list of players who win more back to backs than games played?!

I am a bit upset that he has signed for us permanently as I don't rate him highly, just hoping he don't have to play any first team football as he seems a bit of an accident waiting to happen.

He wasn't good enough for us, but good luck to him. He is Anthony Pulis in disguise.

Yet he will not recieve any medals for those 3 promotions. Wasn´t he part of that great deal that took Bale to Spurs? Spurs told Lowe that he will be the future England keeper, so I blame Gillingham for ruining him

Forecast aka Mr wave wads of cash around thinking he is it. Won't be able to do that now he's not leeching off us.

Anthony Pulis is doing alright for Orlando FC in Florida too. Lee Molyneux is doing very well indeed at Accrington, occasionally getting onto the scoring sheet and for the right team too..! Indeed, Molyneux appears to have been a reasonably good player who just had a lot of trouble settling down away from Merseyside. Now he's back on his patch he's rebuilding his career.

Good luck to Forecast. He should never have come to Saints, but I wish him well in any case.

Have to admit the first thing I thought when I saw this thread was "come on DTLW it's not the 1st April!" I was expecting to open it up to find Forecast's head badly photo-shopped onto Boruc's body and sat alongside Pochettino! :emoticon-0102-bigsm
