Every time I go I get stuck in traffic, there's no way round it, so I just don't go there at all, same with York!
I like the idea that the Beverlonians have to have a City shop. Bet they hate it. Cos they're nothing to do with Hull you know. Totally separate.
Tis true. 'Beverley near York' they say, which is actually 30 miles away. Hull is 11 but the ones I know never mention that. ****houses.
Beverley is where one of our greater supporters and sharpest posters was born. Yes, that's right bitches. The reverse snobbery about Bev is funny. And cute. Yes, cute.
TBH I have no idea why, was the Bev Maternity Hospital. My Parents lived on Anlaby Rd at the time. My dad had to visit me mam after riding there from Hull on his scooter in snow and ice, apparently he was almost frozen solid. Mam was a nurse in Hull too. I'll have to ask her.
Both of my kids were born at Beverley Maternity Hospital, though I do know why, it was because we lived in Beverley. In fact, I lived on Woodlands, about 50 paces from the Maternity Hospital, which was handy, as the missus was in there for three months with the first.
I once heard a snob claim it to be a suburb of York - his Mrs publicly disowned him in front of 50+ revellers and then stomped out leaving him looking a pratt - a random night in Keswick.
Horse ****. It was Hessle Rd. Nothing funny about Beverley being backward. There's a place up here (just outside Durham) called Pity Me, make the move, it's so you.
I was born in Beverley too. In fact everyone my age in Hull seems to have been. Doesn't really mean out. I've never lived there.
You get a lot of loyal support in Bev compared to the rovers and fc ****s in hull constantly ****ting on us. Go round Bev on the morning of a match day and it's city shirts on overweight blokes and kids everywhere.
