Hopefully a precursor to the takeover being announced tomorrow. Somebody did say the 19th didn't they?
Obviously know nowt about how well he's going to do but it's certainly a good thing that he's a supporter of the club. He'll have a lot of knowledge about what needs doing.
Hell of a tribe we're going to be with all the chiefs we've gettin in, could do with a few more indians and maybe some squaws in as cheerleaders!
Clearly a very bright bloke, business leader, genuinely local and lover of the lads. what's not too like about stronger governance & direction. Looking forward to seeing what the full board looks like, as we're increasingly making a huge, positive move away from the inept and distanced shambles of the past 10+yrs.
Well we've tried and failed with the cowboy's that are Donald and his merry men, so the Indians deserve a go
Bit confused as to what his remit is, having come from such a different background but hopeful we hear about the good work he starts doing in months to come... whatever that is.
I reckon he's purely administrative. And I don't mean he's doing admin - he'll just be running the day-to-day operations, HR, finance, ticketing, marketing, facilities, infrastructure etc
I wondered that but given he seems to be from a heavy B2B background I thought it strange for him to be taking on those B2C responsibilities like ticketing, marketing, media, and merchandising. I wondered if it had more of a logistical slant given the above. You seem to have covered that in your list though. So it kind of makes sense Either way, I'm sure they made the decision for a reason and he's more than capable.
Looks like the infrastructure is really taking shape Speakman on the Football side Davison on the non Football side of things , new owner as Chairman with a solid management team behind him . The plans are a lot better than what we have had in place for many years just waiting for the takeover announcement to be made - we just need to see this as soon as possible .
