Martin Starnes has been announced as the new Chief Executive. Has moved from Yeovil after five and a half years in the same job and did a similar job before at Swindon. He will take up the post on July 8th. We seem to be adopting a pattern of taking on Yeovil ex-players and staff.
How things have changed, it use to be the reverse a few years ago... Hopefully he will bring some good with him!!
Something everyone seems to agree we needed so yep good job done. We need to forget what we once were and aspire to becoming something again from a very lowly starting point. Yeovil are Championship we are bottom league two so we can't be too up our own rear ends about anything anymore.
Thirteen years as a Football League chief executive, also an ex semi-professional player, ex scout for Stockport & manager of Sherborne Town. Has the experience and clearly a football fan - must be a good appointment. What could possibly go wrong?
