New captain

After the Matt Mills saga the mercury keeps saying former captain Matt Mills, so has Nigel stripped him of the captaincy? If he has who is going to be the new captain. Richie Wellens has been wearing the armband since Mills went out of the team. But is he the new captain or still the vice captain.

Who would you want as captain? There is a few candidates Schmeichel, Konchesky, St. Ledger, Morgan, Wellens, King, or would you want Matt Mills to keep it.

I would have Paul Konchesky out of them.

Also Andy King has said on twitter he has got his protective boot off for the first time today. It still will be some time before he is ready to play but good news at least. He has looked very tired on the pitch for a long time and his performances has dropped, hopefully after a long break he can come back next season as the player we know he can be

 

The captain is Wellens then - Pearson isn't a shy person and if he wasn't worthy, he would have given the captaincy to someone else.

Wonder who our new vice captain is?

 

Wellens is a mouthy git so it would suit - Wes Morgan by next year (or as vice captain)

 

I got a feeling Andy King might get the armband back next year. He had it nearly all of last season.

Schmeichel for me, as hes the only player guaranteed a place atm.

 

I dont like goalkeepers being captains. I prefer defenders as captains because they can see everything whats happening in front of them and can get around the pitch while goalkeepers are pinned back
